The Emirates Institute for Health & Safety has been providing Fire Safety and Fire Warden training for ADAC and their subsidiaries since January 2010 and we are now following up to ensure effective Fire Safety training is being provided to all staff across the ADAC organization. This initiative is in support of the Health & Safety strategic objectives for ADAC and it involves active classroom learning and practicals with both Laser Kit technology and live fire practicals in a safe environment. The Fire Safety Awareness Training Campaign has been initiated also in Al Ain Airport and other associated airport facilities.

Upwards of 600 employees have thus far been trained and it is evident that participants are more at ease with using Fire Extinguishers and will take appropriate action to respond to dealing with an incident including following appropriate procedures. The Fire Warden / Marshall course includes elements of building a team and after successfully graduating from the course, will be directly involved in assisting in a Fire Drill.
